Aadhavan is a well-known TV personality who became very famous after his work in the comedy show titled “Konjam Nadinga Boss”. Working as a Radio Jockey for 98.3 FM, he has hosted several captivating shows on radio such as “Kollyudans”.
Participating in “Kalakkapovadhu Yaaru Season 4”, with his great sense of humour and mimicry talent he went on to win the title of that show. From then on, he has done numerous successful shows as an Anchor for Aadithya TV, Sun TV and has now progressed to being one of the judges of Season 9 of “Kalakkapovadhu Yaaru”.
He has even explored Acting and film direction starting with short films then moving onto the silver screen assisting in direction of films like Dhool, Gilli, Osthe and “3”. One of the things that make him stand out as a mimicry artiste is his ability to mimic voices of singers such as SPB, Malaysia Vasudevan which is rather unique. About the Interview
Hosting this interactive conversation was our dear Guru, who had built a good rapport with Aadhavan even before the interview through early engagements. Talking about his journey in the media, he shared several of his experience from his top shows like Lollu Sabha, Konjam Nadinga Boss and KPY. He owed the initial learnings of media culture to his time as a Radio Jockey in 98.3 FM, which happened when his talents were noticed and referred by Mirchi Shiva.
Whilst getting to know about Aadhavan’s personal experiences, audiences also had the opportunity to hear various mimicry and singing performances. Mimicking the voices of his favourite Actor Super Star Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan and several others, he wowed the audiences with his very natural mimicry of famous singers like SPB, Ilayaraja, Yuvan and Malaysia Vasudevan to name a few. Being an active user of the Smule platform, Aadhavan has sung beautiful songs in Smule.
Joining as a special host, SHADES Vilasini (niece of Maestro. Ilayaraja) had some fun conversation with Aadhavan with whom she had worked together in Aadithya TV.
