Trichy Saravana Kumar fondly known as “TSK” is a VJ, mimicry artist, singer and a dubbing artist. He became popular after his performance in Vijay TV’s “Kalakkapovadhu Yaaru Season 7” where he participated along with his friend Azhar and won the title. He runs an event management company called “TSK Entertainments” that offers event management services for several occasions such as birthday parties, corporate events, weddings, celebrity management and variety shows etc.
Some of the TV shows that he’s been involved in are Sun TV’s “Asatha Povathu Yaaru”, Kalaignar TV’s Ellamey Siriputhan”, Makkal TV’s “Konjam Settai Konjam Arrattai” to name a few. Whilst continuing to be part of TV shows in popular Television channels, he also does numerous stage performances. He is also taking up acting in films and has done a few supporting roles in movies like “Madurai Veeran”, “Kadhal solla vandhen” and “Gandhi Kanakku”. He is a passionate singer, loves cricket and has keen interest in body building / athletic sports.
About the Interview
This was such a fun interview with our host Guru and TSK making us feel like listening to two friends catching up and chatting over a coffee. It was inspiring to hear how TSK came from humble beginnings, stayed positive as he fought through struggles and faced many challenges as he made a mark for himself in television media.
He shared his life experiences and how his interest started for mimicry which he developed further by exploring numerous voices and came up with comical scripts for several shows. TSK performed mimicry of several popular Actors even addressing a special request coming from one of the audiences celebrating her birthday requesting him to wish her in Actor Vijay’s voice.
He shared about his passion for music and sung a few lines for the audience. He amazed us with how closely he mimicked Singer Janaki’s voice when he sang “Amma Amma” from the movie VIP. This is one of the unique mimicry talents that he has. A fun part of the interview was when he made a live prank call to his good friend Azhar which was very entertaining and showcased their friendship. We were thrilled to have TSK joining us in this lively interaction and our team wishes him the best of luck for his future endeavors!
